St. Cyprian's Anglican Church - Sharpeville 3.25

St. Cyprian's Anglican Church was officially opened in the 50s from Top Location. At that time there was no Anglican church building in Sharpeville catering for the spiritual needs of the Anglican community. Services were conducted in one of nthe church leader's house. Mr Motshwari who was then a Lay Minister in Vuka Senzele.
St. Cyprian's through its previouse rectors including the present one has been immernsly involved in the struggle for better life for all. Meetings where strategies for resistance were held. This had helped put South Africa in a a map of the world and through this initiative other countries supported change in South Africa.

To date St. Cyprian's remains the only viable choice for those Anglicans who prefer to worship within a traditionally African parish
