“Born to fish, forced to work” is a motto an unfortunate majority of us have to abide by, until one day we decided to change this motto to “Born to fish, forced to cast until we catch The Big One and then we cast one more time just in case…”! And that is how Sobek Tiger Fishing and Adventures was born.

Sobek Tiger Fishing and Adventures is owned and operated by a South African husband and wife team who enjoys the finer things in life…..fine dining (a juicy steak on the braai under the stars), five star accommodation (a comfy mattress in a roomy tent), live television (a crackling fire) and sport fit for kings (Tiger fishing!)….amongst a ton of other fun and relaxing activities and we are passionate about sharing these wonderful African experiences with you!




Sobek Tiger Fishing and Adventures provides you with the choice of ‘designing’ your own tours – choose your destination, amount of days you prefer, a choice of self-catering or lodge accommodation to various destinations in Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique and of course, our own stunning South Africa. We currently host groups between 4 - 6 pax.

We mainly cater for Tiger fishing adventures, as well as African safaris, bush breaks, road trips, fun times at coastal resorts…. we take you where you want to go and accommodation is arranged where required for example; a trip to the spectacular Victoria Falls can host a variety of accommodation from backpackers lodges to five star luxury hotels, it is all up to what you wish to experience!

Costs are then tailor made to suit your adventure of choice as we incorporate everything you require into one price per person, ALL INCLUSIVE! Yes you read correctly, we include EVERYTHING - transportation (fuel), border costs, all meals, snacks, beverages (soft drinks and alcoholic), bottled water, ice, all fishing gear (including tackle and bait), fishing permits, boat hire (with unlimited fuel), all linen, laundry service, game drives, sunset cruises, national park fees…..wherever you wish to go, everything inclusive: the only items you have to bring along are your valid passport, clothing and toiletries, personal spending money and your adventurous attitude.

The bottom line is simply that we wish to share Africa’s hidden treasures of beauty, fun, excitement and camaraderie with you!
