Sean Ross Tours cc traded from 2004 to 2012 as My South Africa Tour but reverted to Sean Ross Tours cc from 1 January 2013. Ownership (Sean Ross and Beathe Langmo Ross) and management (Sean Ross) are unchanged.

Sean Ross Tours cc is a South African registered company and is a member of Tourism KwaZulu-Natal (Provincial authority) and South Coast Tourism (Local authority). Sean Ross Tours cc is compliant with national insurance regulations and carries SATSA accredited insurance with South African Tourism Insurance Brokers (SATIB) for public and professional liability, while our tour vehicles have full passenger liability insurance with SATIB.
Sean Ross

Sean Ross is a dual South African/Norwegian citizen with a University Degree in Journalism (Rhodes University South Africa 1985-1988). He worked as a foreign correspondent for Knight-Ridder Financial News/Dow Jones Telerate/Bridge News – world leaders in finanical news - for ten years first in Johannesburg from 1992 – 1998 and then in Oslo from 1999-2002. Having traveled extensively in over 35 countries including North, Central and South America, Africa, Eastern and Western Europe and Middle East Sean returned to South Africa in 2003 and established Sean Ross Tours cc and began trading the following year.

Sean Ross has a Level 4 National Certificate in Tourism: Guiding (Certificate number 613/C/023198) through the state’s Theta authority (Tourism, Hospitality & Sport Education & Training) and holds the requisite Professional Driving Permit for transporting tourists.

Beathe Langmo Ross is a Norwegian citizen who first came to South Africa during the year of South Africa’s transition to democracy in 1994. She worked in Johannesburg for three years from 1995-1998 for People Opposing Women Abuse (POWA) and The National Institute for Crime Prevention and Rehabilitation of Offenders (NICRO), bringing her experience from Norway in these social fields to great and positive effect for these two non-governmental organizations. After traveling across South America for a year she returned to Norway in 1999 before re-establishing her base in South Africa in 2003 where she partnered Sean Ross in setting up Sean Ross Tours. She is a fond lover of people and of nature and has traveled extensively throughout South and Southern Africa. She currently manages her own non-profit organization The Ithemba Elisha Project which supports several local educational and social initiatives, most notably the Zenzeleni Creche which has received her support for many years.
