Scratch Mobile - O.R. Tambo Airport 4.06

Scratch Mobile celebrated ten years in business on 1 November 2016. The company was founded by innovators, Ntuthuko Shezi and the late Nhlanhla Mbele.

They identified a need to give the panel beating industry a human face and make the customer king instead.

They came up with a novel idea to make spray painting mobile - on demand and hence the name Scratch Mobile.

The company grew quickly and eventually approached the Airports Company of South Africa with a proposal for piloting on-site scratch repairs in order to improve the airport customer experience.

In 10 years, Scratch Mobile has repairs over 30,000 cars at OR Tambo Airport and is the supplier of choice for Bidvest Car Rental, First Car Rental and others. Scratch Mobile has won numerous awards such as the General Motors Best Speedshop Awards 2013 and the CEO Magazine Country, Regional and Continental Winner for Automotive Excellence.
