We are one of the oldest amateur dramatic societies in the Western Cape and are proud of our reputation for producing quality shows of all genres.

Amateur simply means nobody gets paid. Everybody in front of the stage, on it or behind it does what they do for the love of it - which has no negative impact on the quality, quite the opposite. Many a professional actor has started out in the AmDram scene.

We are always looking for those helpful folks who'd love to support the HHDS - Hottentots Holland Dramatic Society - in running the theatre. It takes much more than acting!

Join the fun - Besides enjoying our shows, why not take part and try your hand at the stage, just look out for any of our Audition Notices and perhaps one day you'll join in the fun too.
