Hi, and welcome! I’m Mariska, a Jo'burg and Pretoria based makeup artist. I have been doing makeup for over 6 years now, and I love every minute of it. Ever since I was a little girl, I loved everything about makeup - the smell, textures and, of course, the pretty packaging and designs they came in. But, most of all, I loved seeing the confidence that came with wearing makeup. My mom couldn’t keep me away from her makeup drawer. Every morning, I used to stare at my mom as she’d "transform" herself. I was always amazed. I think it’s safe to say that I fell in love with makeup! Now, almost 14 years later, I get paid to do makeup ALL the time - and I love it! I believe that makeup should enhance one’s natural looks and unique features.
