I am a bookworm, cat crazy, tea loving, Kalahari farm girl. So when I am not busy with anything photography related, you can find me curled up with a good book, exotic tea and in the company of my two ginger tabbies. To me, family and my Heavenly Father come first…and the rest will follow.

I grew up on a farm 145km north of Upington in the Northern Cape. I grew up in an artistic household which ranged from creative arts to music to capturing memories in the form of photos.

After matric, I travelled to Stellenbosch where I studied hospitality and cheffing… my dream of photography not forgotten, just simply postponed.

Soon after, I met the love of my life and moved to the coastal town of East London in the Eastern Cape. I quickly realized that my passion and heart still lies with the art of photography - and with a leap of faith - decided to make it my reality. I enrolled in Shaw Academy and have since finished my photography diploma and numerous other photography related courses.

I thank my Heavenly Father, family, friends and especially my darling husband who is not only my loyal assistant, but also believed in me from the start.

Photography is my life and I LOVE what I do! There is simply something magical about capturing a moment in time and being able to save it forever.

A photograph is not only a pause button to life, but a ticket back in time to see and feel a moment otherwise forgotten. When people look at my photos I want them to feel the way they do when they read the last paragraph of a really good book, reread a love poem that is dear at heart or remember the way they felt in that very moment. I want to capture not only the moment, but also the feelings, the laughter and the beauty of life itself.

In April 2017 we moved to Cape Town in the Western Cape, to fulfill the next chapter of our ‘happily ever after’.
