The Ladysmith Presbyterian Church was founded in 1903. The church met initially in the old Lutheran Church. In 1917 the Charlestown Presbyterian Church was dismantled and re-erected in Murchison Street, becoming the LPC's first building. In 1968, the property was sold and a new church built on the Old Golf Course.
The current building, at 100 Farquahar Road, seats 230 in the sanctuary and boasts a hall, recreation area and several classrooms.
