La Petite Grange 2.47

The Little Barn / La Petite Grange is situated in the country village of Darling on the West Coast, approximately 68kms from Cape Town.

The barn was built in 1916 as shelter for the livestock on the farm Langfontein. It was beautifully renovated in 2002 and now sits proudly on the hill overlooking the village and the farmlands beyond.

The accommodation is two bedrooms, one with Queen and the second with two single beds beautifully furnished with 100% Cotton percale bedlinen on top of the range mattresses. The bathroom is neat with a bath/shower and plenty room for wash bags.

The open plan lounge, dining room is cozy and has comfy couches to relax and read a book. The kitchen is fully equipped with a chef style gas hob and electric oven, AMC Classic cookware, a full size fridge freezer, coffee machine, kettle, toaster and soda stream. The cupboards are stocked with staples and condiments in case you forget to pack candles or olive oil.

The patio has a Weber braai and a table and chairs to enjoy a glass of wine and the sun setting over the village. Enjoy the abundant birdlife and watch the cattle moving across the fields across the valley.

There are many walks and mountain bike trails to be enjoyed by you and your four legged companions.
