Who are we?
The Youth Group of the International Society for Krsna Consciouness in Durban, South Africa.

Why has this group started?
“upon the shoulders of you the leaders of this Movement falls the responsibility of saving this earth planet from the present dangerous position. So the work is in your hands” (Letter from Srila Prabhupada dated 5th December 1971).

What do we seek to achieve?
Under the guidance of various senior leaders and temple management this group seeks to achieve:

1. To inspire, train, engage and empower youth in Krishna Consciousness to their fullest potential.
2. Making spirituality fun and for helping youth to develop a deeper understandings about life and the Krishna culture, enriching opportunities, and to serve the temple.
3. We sing, we dance, we play (drama and games), we do other activities such as open-discussions about the Vedic philosophy & most importantly, we learn. This is an opportunity as the knowledge of the scriptures is liberating, they find peace and happiness when they chant the Hare Krishna Mahamantra.
