The Human Evolution Research Institute (HERI) aims to bring together expertise and equipment located at the University of Cape Town (UCT) and partnering local (e.g. Iziko Museums) and international (IHO@ASU; CASHP@GWU) institutions in order to foster further innovative collaboration around questions of the dynamics of human change over deep time.

International Partner Institutions:
(1) The Institute of Human Origins is one of the preeminent research organizations in the world devoted to the science of human origins. It is situated in the School of Human Evolution and Social Change at Arizona State University.
(2) The Center for the Advanced Study of Human Paleobiology (CASHP). A research centre at the George Washington University and is closely affiliated with the Smithsonian’s Human Origins Program.
