Hilltop Montessori Preschool first opened its doors in 2004. While the school is in its 14th year of operating, the owner and head directress has 20 years teaching experience.

The school has established itself in the community and surrounding areas as a school that is dedicated to the overall development and education of the child and prides itself on being a true Montessori school.

Hilltop Montessori Preschool is a small, home based school, offering individual attention and the very best in expertise and knowledge to its families.

The school is registered with the Department of Health, the Local Town Council, The South African Montessori Association and SACE (South African Council of Educators). We are now also officially registered with the Department of Social Development.

It is important for parents wanting to send their child to a Montessori school to be familiar with the methodology and what it entails. This will make the child and family's experience more valuable.

We are a half day preschool with a variety of extra mural activities on offer, along with termly excursions that tie in with our environment. We unfortunately do not offer after care and holiday care.
