The Helderberg Osteoporosis Centre, operated by specialist physician Dr Graham Ellis, is a leader in DXA osteoporosis risk assessment tests in the Western Cape.

Osteoporosis is a silent disease and many people only become aware of is after they fracture.
Timeous diagnosis and treatment can reduce the risk of fractures.

Dr Graham Ellis is a specialist Physician with more than 25 experience in the field of osteoporosis.

He is has published both locally and internationally in the field of osteoporosis and has given numerous talks at scientific meetings on osteoporosis. His clinical research unit has participated in numerous clinical trials on new therapies for osteoporosis.

He is currently in private practice in Somerset West, runs the Helderberg Osteoporosis Clinic and is Medical Director of Synexus Helderberg Clinical Research Centre.

He is also a counsel member of the National Osteoporosis Foundation of South Africa.
