The company has been formed out of the need within the global and local market for automation within the Small Livestock farming industry. Growing cost, increased labour instability, lack of skill within the workforce and the need for Small Livestock Farmers to farm more intensive, with increased ease of access to animals, easy and effective data management and faster working methods.

New Technology

ECS Industries has proven to be ground breaking in our approach and we recently patented a world first in sheep technology. Our new DATA and Dispensing unit will be rolled out 1st of January 2015. It incorporates an automated precision dose process within the BODY-CLAMP system that weighs, calculates dose QTY based on pre-programmed ORAL Drench selection and dispenses accurate quantity to 1/10th of a millilitre in less than half a second.

Our specialised and patented dose gun also contains a build in RFID scanner that accurately reads and capture Electronic ID tags simultaneously while the animal is being handled. Manual tag users can manually enter animal tags via touch panel display controller.

The controller is build and programmed with our patented software enabling a range of functionality that includes; programmable automated gate sorting, Data up and Download capability, dose application of up to 3 different drenching methods within 1 unit at the same time.

A complete data interface enabling Farmers to upload requirements into the system and or download real-time data onto their PC for further analysis with real-time GPS, operator PIN code for worker analysis, sheep and Drench/Dose data and quantity and Age to name but a few is all available at their fingertips
