We would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little about us. We, Doris and Eva, have been on this journey for a long time. Our Mother was very health orientated and our Father knew about the “Good Life” so the “Good Food, Great Life” approach to our business developed roots early on.

At Earthmother Organic, we source as much as we can locally. This is especially true of our fresh produce; which we source from local producers, homestead farmers, certified farmers, and our own farm and which is available on Fridays at Earthmother's premises… a lovely escape to the country, in the midst of the Urban hubbub. The Market runs from 10:30AM – 2PM and orders for veg boxes can be placed for those folk who aren’t able to make it to the Market during these times. Earthmother Organic is one of the only fully organic retailers in South Africa. We have a product range of over 900 items, from baby products, to household cleaners and everything in between and this range continues to grow. Sharing retail space with us are three exciting shops: Caboodle, which stocks original clothing and handcrafted accessories, glassware and gift ideas; The Lotus Room, which specializes in massage and alternative therapies to promote healing on all levels; Lapis Lazuli, with exquisite jewelry and Dr Mom, our resident Homoeopath and registered Doula; Dr Taryn Turner specializes in Paediatrics, as well as being a general Homoeopath.

Earthmother also boasts a lovely Café, in a tranquil garden setting. The Garden Café offers a menu based on how we live at home: simplicity, delicious flavours and healthy living principles. As all of our meals are prepared from scratch, we are able to make changes to the various dishes we offer to accommodate specific dietary requirements. We also believe that a change is as good as a holiday and so our staff have free creative reign and we often have specials that originate from them. . Just as tantalizing to the taste buds is our Deli: a range of pestos, cheeses, free-range eggs, salads, raw chocolate tarts, truffles, fudge, biscotti, takeaway sandwiches and meals are available… with many more delicious treats to follow.
