Details

The vulnerability of Children in Africa puts them at a high risk of not having a bright future or more painful no future at all. The spiraling socio-economic problems in the Continent are being compounded by poverty and illiteracy due to internal conflicts such as wars, political instabilities and pandemics such as Malaria, HIV/AIDS, TB, Cholera and Malnutrition related illnesses, which has resulted in many children being orphaned and vulnerable to abuse and neglect.

Apart from children who are recruited or forced into military ranks, some have become victims of human trafficking. In order to cope an African child has resulted to abusing substances/drugs, prostitution and crime.

African morals have degenerated in most parts of the continent such that if we don’t sound the alarm the future of an African child and the entire continent is doomed.
