De Dolls is a proudly South African and 100% black and women owned independent modelling agency established in 2012. Our principal objective is to provide young aspiring models from all corners of South Africa with a vehicle to facilitate their transition into the modelling world. Since inception, De Dolls is prominent player for sustainable endorsements and promotion of local talent beyond the boundaries of South Africa. Our mission is to bridge the gap between aspiring female models (18+ of age) and talent-seekers such as fashion designers, commercial casting directors and magazine photography directors among other role players in the industry. We leverage our expertise and connections in the industry to secure auditions and paying work for our models. Our approach is relationship-based and is underpinned by values of trust, integrity, honesty and delivery. We expose our aspiring models to a variety of opportunities in the industry that compliments their personal strengths and career aspirations.

We have observed during our extensive scouting processes that the majority of young aspiring models from previously disadvantaged communities across all provinces of South Africa continue to be neglected and frowned upon. There is very little support from the well-established modelling agencies with regard to nurturing young talent. The focus is always on models who have already achieved the celebrity status and those who have already made it. This is despite that fact that South Africa still boasts millions of exquisite creatures in its reserves that remains undiscovered. Meanwhile, it is unfortunate that most aspiring models are exploited, deceived and defrauded of thousands of rands in their quest to climb the modelling ladder by unscrupulous agencies. We believe De Dolls is the perfect platform for upcoming models to learn and to grow while at the same time earning an honest living.
