Crystal Church was established in 1992 by Senior Pastors Carl & Joan Hendricks in Kliptown West, Johannesburg, South Africa. Crystal Church took on the mandate to bring a diverse people to Christ, to serve our communities and establish meaningful relationships, to reach the un-churched and bring them home, develop them and give them and understanding of their purpose and God's intentions.

Reverend Carl decided on the name Crystal because when you look at a crystal glass it is so clear. It is his passion to spread the gospel so clearly so that anyone can understand and draw close to Jesus. When light reflects on a crystal it does so in 7 rays of light, like the light of Christ shining on Crystal Church reflecting outwards into 7 goals of Crystal’s DESTINY vision.

The Church is a vibrant mixture of Biblical authenticity and contemporary style which reflects in everything it does. Every endeavour is launched with the mandate in mind, and evaluated on the grounds of how people are won effectively for Jesus Christ. Currently we have another Campus in Durban with 2 more to open South Africa in 2015.

People from all walks of life have made Crystal Church their spiritual home and found not merely a church, but a family. Crystal is HOME.
Crystal Church Main Campus currently has a 4000 seater main church auditorium, 1000 seater Youth (The Factory) auditorium, huge Social Outreach Center (CSWS) as well as numerous other fully AV equipped venues that enables us to reach people for Christ and equip people.
