What sets us apart from the schools in our area is our HIGH STANDARDS. We strive for EXCELLENCE in everything we do. Our gr R learners can read and write before they face gr 1.
We believe that giving your child a sturdy foundation will benefit them in the future.

EVERY class has a teacher and assistant and the little ones (2-3 years), have 2 assistants per class. Our classes are never more than 25 learners per class. This is why we can give individual attention which delivers great academical standards.

Caligro grew from 18 learners, September 2010 to 250 learners in September 2015.
Our results and HAPPY learners speak for themselves. What a privilege to be part of this success story…

The VISION of Caligro Tots Academy school is to be the wiser alternative for a superior educational experience.

Wiser:
The word wiser stems from the word wisdom which is one of the most suitable education concepts. In essence it means that the school will not only aim for superior education but to establish wisdom in its pupils from their first exposure to the formal educational system.

Alternative:
The inclusion of this word in the vision implies both interpretations of the word. Alternative as a choice, but also alternative as something distinctive.

Superior:
Superiority is something that should be aimed for in every functional area of the school.

Education:
It is the word in the vision formulation that anchors the school in the main stream system. This implies that although the aim will be to achieve excellence in all aspects, the school will not be radical and will adhere to nationally accepted principles of education.

Experience:
This word suggests something of the method of education that will distinguish the school from its competitors. Experiential learning has proved to be one of the most effective didactic methods. Further the emphasis on experience implies something of an x-factor that all stakeholders in the school will experience. This includes the investors, parents, teachers, children and visitors to the school.

Growing together through exploration will be our motto, as our School slogan states.
