Brett Nattrass is an energetic photographer who willing to capture anything and everything that he can. His enthusiasm for natural light and moments makes his work unique. He is often found scrambling through bushes or rumbling up mountains to capture the perfect shot.

He has a love for his family and a passion for coffee and wine. His personality allows for him to befriend you and make you feel comfortable behind the lens. He is currently an exclusive artist for iStock where he has had the privilege of traveling to Japan in 2016 and shooting with some of the worlds top stock photographers.

I picked up my passion for photography in 1996 on a trip to the United States. I took a photo of everything I went passed, from poles to people to an amazing shot of the twin towers over the bay (a shot no human can ever get again). Many years later I had an awesome opportunity to learn from an established photographer – Wil Punt. I joined a team of Wedding Photographers called Germinate Photographer, we offered “Affordable Photography”. 4 years later I am still involved with Germinate but my personal growth in photography is establishing.

I am proud to be a father to the most amazing 3 year (time of writing) old little boy – Benjamin, I am also the happiest husband ever with my most amazing wife Ronel. She stands by me every step of the way and you will often see her carrying my camera bag or taking extra shots at the occasional wedding. I am truly blessed to have these 2 people in my life.

As you can see from my work, I live for the outdoors and I love capturing your moments. Spending the whole day with the bride and groom is for me an honor and I treasure the fun times I have had with the couples I have worked with. I have met some amazing people, created some great friends and I have traveled to some stunning destinations. I am not scared to travel abroad to capture your special day.
