Introduction
I am Shaun Petersen, founder and Owner of Boskabouter Adventures. I was born and raised in Lavender Hill a disadvantage community in Cape Town, South Africa that is notorious for gang violence, drugs and killings. I started Boskbaouter Adventures to empower our youth to make better choices and develop their leadership skills.


Our Mission
To Inspire Youth/College student in disadvantaged communities like the one where I grew up in by providing educational and leadership programs. We will encourage them to believe in their dreams and never give up.


The Programs
The programs consists of educational camps and tours around South Africa and into neighboring countries, Namibia and Botswana, which include leadership development, respect, determination, environmental awareness and more.


Cultural Exchange
To create cultural exchange programs for young people from South Africa and USA that will bridge the gap and enhance global citizenship.


Fundraising Goals
Short term Goal - To raise enough funds to start the tours during the 2016 calendar year We hoping to raise enough funds so we can select youth from the USA and South Africa that will board the same truck and start their cultural exchange educational tour.
Long Term Goal - Our aim is to raise sufficient funds to buy a overland truck that can seat 20 youth, 3 instructors and 2 guides/drivers. It will also store all luggage, food, and other necessities. This will save a great deal of money to invest in the programs and development exercises.
