Belgian Beard 3.2

I never use to be a beard guy, that was until December 2014 when I woke up after suffering a broken neck and being in hospital since October. No shave for 3 months… I liked the look, besides having a stuffed neck and haircut like a Viking off course. I broke my neck in a bike accident and was truly lucky and blessed to be alive, my mate Arnold started calling me “The Belgian” because I survived a broken C2 vertebrae (and still walking). He read an article about a Belgian called Adrian Carton de Wiart, the toughest SOB ever to walk this earth! He served in the Boer War, First World War, and Second World War, was shot in the face, head, stomach, ankle, leg, hip, and ear, survived two plane crashes, tunnelled out of a prisoner-of-war camp, and bit off his own fingers when a doctor refused to amputate them. Describing his experiences in the First World War, he wrote, "Frankly I had enjoyed the war".
