Bavaria is renowned for it’s beer gardens & of course the largest beer festival in the world, “ THE OKTOBER BEER FEST.” This event attracts over 6 million visitors each year, which is held in Munich (München) Bavaria’s capital city.
In 2010, a record 7 million liters of beer was served at the 200th Oktoberfest Celebration.

Here at Bavarian Pretzel we pride ourselves on bringing a little corner of Germany to the heart of Stellenbosch.

We combine a selection of specialties on our menu ranging from Pretzels to Bavarian style group Wurst Platters.

Our restaurant boasts an interior market square beer garden with log Alpine bars Bavarian Style, where you are spoilt for choice. Here you can enjoy self-service at our bakery hut, with our range of homemade paninis, baked wood fired breads & tantalizing deserts, or simply relax and choose from our menu.

At our beer garden bar enjoy a selection of hot & cold refreshments and why not try our homemade Bavarian house shakes!

Coming soon to this bar’s options will be an array of selected imported German beers & local Craft beers. You will be able to relax, enjoy and Prost!

Our restaurant also operates takeaways for those on the go.

We are fully Air Conditioned with TV & WIFI facilities.
