Anchor Industries is an internationally operating, privately owned company based in South Africa and is the largest stockist and suppliers of lifting, rigging, marine and offshore mooring equipment in Southern Africa. The company was established in 1994 to satisfy the marine and offshore mooring equipment demands around the Southern African coastline and has fully-fledged offices in Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg and Nelspruit South Africa and Pemba in Mozambique. With over 12000 m² of warehouse space between its branches, the organisation employs a total of 82 staff and has further expanded their services and now offers Spooling, Socketing, Load Testing, Rigging, NDT Inspections, Equipment Rentals and Training.
Quality and reliability form the pillars of Anchor Industries’ philosophy. Equipment and procedures are strictly controlled through the DNV approved ISO9001:2008 Quality Management System and the organisation is also a fully accredited member of the South African Oil and Gas Alliance (SAOGA), Lifting Equipment Engineering Association of South Africa (LEEASA) and is also a MERSETA, TETA and SAQA accredited training provider.
Anchor Industries is the only stockist and supplier of offshore chains and anchors in Southern Africa. Manufacturing and stocking a wide variety of products including anchors, chains, wire and fibre ropes, shackles, sockets, sling sets and associated fittings.
