Growing up our home and my grandmothers home would constantly smell like something lovely and fresh is about to pop out of the oven. There it was, a cup of tea with a wonderful piece of whatever delicious creation my mom had made.

Ever since I can remember I would bake something at least once a week, purely for the love and joy I found in it. Luckily there were enough tummies to satisfy with the treats being made, and these days my husband doesn't mind either. :)

I have started this to share my love for baking. The joy on the faces of little children when they see their birthday cakes for the first time, is priceless. And seeing how people find joy in something small but special that you have made for them, makes it worth doing forever.
