Abundant Life Feeding Scheme 1.7

The voice for children who cannot speak for themselves.
The above mentioned organisation started in April 2009 by Marlene Satarien. The aim is to help the needy children of the gangster-ridden area of Lavender Hill, many of whom were roaming the streets begging for food in what is at times almost a war zone. These children are both physically at risk and in danger of being sucked into the gang culture that dominates the area.
The Feeding Scheme currently consists of a wendy house in the yard.

What the scheme does:
it feeds +-150 children when there is food.
party packets Easter and Christmas.

income and expenditure:
private donors such as: Mary Starkey, Simon Gibbs, Carin Hannekom and Dawn Gillespie.
it costs about R10 000 per month to provide nutritional meals for the children.

which children are eligible?
All children who attend school and are not adequately feed at home all food is Halaal.

what can you do to help:
in addition to money the scheme needs the following:
fire extinguisher
website setup
computer
help with bookkeeping
clothes and shoes
toys
food, fruit, vegetables, meat and juice is a everyday necessity.
all foods are welcome.
