Bureau Veritas – Coal Fired Power Consulting Services
We would see this assignment as an opportunity to continue to lay the foundation for a long term relationship with all Coal Fired Power Project Owners and EPC Contractors not only in Vietnam but also in over the World where BV’s Office located.
During the delivery and implementation of each POWER project, Project Owners, EPC Contractors and Bureau Veritas will develop innovative & optimized solution to collaborate together providing tremendous opportunities for technology and process transfer from Bureau Veritas and Partners to EPC Contractor, substantially strengthening EPC Contractor’s capabilities in the delivery of coal fired power plants. This approach, coupled with our intimate familiarity with all of the factors relevant to the plant definition, tendering and construction phases of coal-fired power station projects, underpins our ability to deliver the assignment in a timely and cost-effective manner.
We have brought forth a balanced and experienced multinational Bureau Veritas’ experienced Team with extensive background in coal fired power plants. We anticipate the Project Management team will continue to be a single, fully integrated team with members drawn from EPC Contractor and Bureau Veritas.
The Bureau veritas Team’s background includes Project Management, Commercial, Technical, Sheduling, Safety, Environmental and Quality Specialist skills for whole cycle of the Project. The Team is confident that they, together with supporting staff, can deliver the assignment in accordance with Project Owner & EPC Contractor’s expectations. All of the staff that are assigned to the Project have extensive direct experience in the development, design, construction and operation of Coal-Fired Power stations.
Bureau Veritas is well placed to carry out these services having recent experience in the provision of almost identical engineering services and background on the EGAT – Thailand, Agentina, France Projects. Bureau Veritas has carried out many commissions which involved similar scopes of such work. Further details of Bureau Veritas experience relevant to this submission can be provided upon request.
This Scope of Services - SoW, Division of Responsibility - DoR, whilst acknowledging EPC Contractor’s Terms of Reference for the Project and EPC Contractor’s subsequent instructions concerning the scope of works to be provided, is based on Bureau Veritas interpretation, from its experience, of the services it considers necessary for an EPC Consulting Services project of this type.
We will be very pleased to further discuss this proposal in detail with EPC Contractor and continue to clarify it in accordance with EPC Contractor comments as necessary.
Our Commercial Proposal ased on this Scope of Services, Division of Responsibility, will be submitted as separate document.
