The owner is Minh, he lives with his wife, kid daughter, mum, young brothers and their families in a small village along the river, 10km from Can Tho.
The difference is that you will get a locals view of life in the Mekong and you will stay at Minh's house not the tourist hotels

The price for staying overnight including dinner and breakfast is $13/person/night. You will also get more then enough opportunities to 'try' the local rice wine.

Minh's house features comfortable rooms. You will stay in small room made by coconut leaf and private bathroom have shower. There are fan and mosquito nets and beautiful views of the sunset and sunrise. There have small yard for relax, some hammock along the riverside. FREE Wi-fi and bicycle - Free using . You can cycling around the countryside or walk to the local market.

Minh offers 2 days worth of boat tours from which you will see Vietnamese life as it is with the people having little interest in your money but more interest in testing out their 'Hello'. Minh's boat tour include the Can Tho floating market, monkey bridge, rice field, rice noodle factories, rice husking mill, the local rice wine producer,matting village, all of this as you weave through the canal of small village.

If you have time in Mekong Delta . He can design a small tour sight-seeing countryside on small roads around the Mekong Delta by motorbike

How you can go to Minhviet Homestay ?

You can catch the PHUONG TRANG bus from Ho Chi Minh(very comfortable bus). It is a very nice bus that runs every 30 min to Can Tho and is be full of locals. Minh or one of his family members will pick you up from Can Tho bus station and from this point you will be well looked after at every step. If at any stage you are not sure ask to speak to Minh.
