Named after the Hau River tributary passing through the Mekong port of Can Tho, Lady Hau was built in Tien Giang province. Originally designed as a barge to transport rice in the Mekong Delta, her traditional design, unique to the region has been used on local trade routes between Vietnam and Cambodia for decades. In the late 1990’s, Lady Hau was transformed from a working rice barge into a resort river cruise boat based in Can Tho.

Mid 2015 Lady Hau was fully refurbished maintaining her authentic finish while upgrading on-board facilities for guests as well as various modern safety features. Now she has made the journey to Saigon, ready for a brand new life of entertaining & cruising visitors on the well-known Saigon River. With her comfortable and spacious open-air decks, our guests have unhindered views of Saigon and the surrounding districts. Sit out and sip a chilled favourite drink while enjoying the breeze off the river from our open-air lounge space at the bow of the boat. This unique space to Lady Hau also provides avid photographers with access to take panoramic shots of the local scenery.
