Bakery School is created in 1999, " La Boulangerie Francaise" is located at Thuy Xuan, the children center managed by the association AEVN. Under the direction of the management of the bakery-pastry school.10 teenagers coming from difficult areas of Hue follow this professional training during a 20 months process...The trainees are intergrated in 2 teams that alternate workshifts. The products made are sold in our tearoom at 46 Nguyen Tri Phuong, contributing to the self financing of the project...
During the training, the trainee's role changes every four months, including purchasing at the market, supervision of the cleaning, stock management and leading the team. Then he finishes the training degree by an internship in a prestigious hotel outside Hue, that gives him the chance to put in practise his techique and linguistic knowledge and to prepare himself to work in the working world.
Throughout the training, the apperentices have also technology and education lesons and also benefit from daily of English courses.
After their return from the internship, they share their experiernshence from their internship with the apprentises of the school and then a job is found for them as baker-pastry maker in a hotel, restaurant, or bakery-pastry shop in Viet Nam.
