Mục đích quan trọng của Viện là hỗ trợ việc giao lưu văn hóa giữa Việt Nam, Đức và châu Âu. Trong mối tương quan này, Goethe-Institut ủng hộ và tổ chức nhiều chương trình để giới thiệu văn hóa Đức đến Việt Nam, nhằm tăng cường đối thoại văn hóa giữa hai nước.
Hàng năm, Goethe-Institut tổ chức các khóa học tiếng Đức cho người lớn. Bên cạnh đó, Viện còn có các buổi thực hành và seminar dành cho giáo viên tiếng Đức.

Trung tâm thông tin (Thư viện) cung cấp những tài liệu cập nhật về đời sống văn hóa xã hội Đức. Tất cả những ai quan tâm đến đất nước và văn hóa Đức, muốn học hoặc dạy tiếng Đức, đều có thể tra cứu hoặc mượn tài liệu của chúng tôi.

Ein wichtiges Ziel seiner Arbeit ist die Förderung des kulturellen Austauschs zwischen Vietnam, Deutschland und Europa. In diesem Zusammenhang organisiert und unterstützt das Goethe-Institut ein breites Spektrum von kulturellen Veranstaltungen zur Vermittlung deutscher Kultur und zur Intensivierung des kulturellen Dialogs zwischen den Ländern.
Wir bieten das ganze Jahr über Kurse "Deutsch als Fremdsprache" für Erwachsene an. Daneben organisieren wir Workshops und Seminare für Lehrer im Bereich Deutsch als Fremdsprache.

Das Infozentrum gibt Einblick in aktuelle Aspekte des kulturellen, gesellschaftlichen und politischen Lebens in Deutschland. Es bietet Buch- und Medienbestände für alle, die sich für Deutschland interessieren, oder die Deutsch lernen oder lehren wollen.

Our main intention is to foster the cultural exchange between Vietnam, Germany and Europe. In this perspective, we organize a broad range of cultural activities, presenting German culture in Asia and intensifying the cultural dialogue between our countries.

Throughout the year, Goethe-Institut offers courses of German as a Foreign Language for adults. In addition to this we organize workshops and methodological seminars for German Language teachers.

Our small media centre offers all kind of information about the cultural, social and political life in today’s Germany. This stock of books, magazines, newspapers, videos, CDs and DVDs serves all those who are interested in Germany and who want to learn or teach German.
