All levels are welcome in what I call a "Stretch and Flow" gentle vinyasa style class. We will have fun with partner poses, arm balances, and more, but at a pace that feels right for each person. I believe yoga is a journey towards self-discovery, and each person has a unique perspective and opportunity to grow.

Classes are donation based, with suggested donations of $5-$10. Items to bring are: mat, water bottle, sunscreen, towel. Beginners, athletes, older kids (6 and up), first timers and regular practitioners are all encouraged to attend.

A little about me (Celeste McCarthy): I received my 200-hour YTT (Yoga Teacher Training) certification from Southwest Institute of Healing Arts in 2004. Previously taught at Gold's Gym, JAB Fitness, After It Training, and several small studios in the East Valley. I have lead family yoga workshops, kids yoga, and both Prenatal and Mommy and Me classes.

I have a special interest in helping people find relief from back pain through specific poses, encouraging athletes to go deeper in their performance, and introducing newcomers to the practice.

Yoga changed my own life in every possible way, from pregnancy to being an overwhelmed new mom, through healing from scoliosis and repetitive use injury, to maintaining calm in the midst of a busy life. It continues to provide an immense amount of joy, fulfilment and tranquility, as well as keeps my body strong and flexible.

Besides daily yoga, I love to run, hike, read and write. I am working through my Health Coach certification through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, and co-own Protea Medical Husband with my husband. With our three kids and two crazy dogs, we live a blessed , full and busy life.

Every day, I look forward to sharing the gift of yoga with my community.
