In 1985, off Webb Hill Road in Shelton, Lee Collins had a dream to create a race track. With the help of a bulldozer, support from family and friends, and Uncle Bud’s property, Lee established a track. Since that very first race in 1985, WHR Motorsports has produced events throughout the United States and still seeks out new ways to please race fans nationwide.

The company has become a family business with the help of Lee’s wife Cheri and his kids Katie, Kris and Kendra. Through promoting Motocross, Monster Truck, Freestyle Motocross, and many more motor sport events, the goal of the Collins gang and WHR Motorsports remains the same; to do something they love while creating an atmosphere for all to enjoy.
