Residents who wished to address Whitney’s Fire District needs founded this department in 1958. Our department provides fire suppression, training, and fire prevention and medical first response to 9000 people within 9 square miles. We currently have 25 members and support personnel. We are a combination department with paid personnel 24/7 for all your emergency needs. We are very proud of our outstanding organization and the quality, dedicated firefighters, officers, and Board of Commissioners that we have. We extend a invite for you to visit our station anytime.
