Danny Lewis, Sr. is the pastor of White Oak Baptist Church, White Oak, North Carolina.

His formal training began at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Wake Forest, North Carolina with an Associate of Divinity Degree.Upon finishing this degree, he continued his education and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biblical Counseling from Christian College and Seminary, Independence, MO.

Danny was saved at the age of thirteen. He surrendered to the Call of the Ministry at the age of thirty-four. He has pastored five churches. White Oak Baptist Church is his fifth church. His heart's desire as a pastor is to see the local church growing spiritually, winning lost souls to Jesus Chris, and supporting missions at home and overseas. He is a pastor who believes in the authority of the Bible. He is unapologetic in preaching the "whole" Bible with authority and boldness. His prayer is that through love and devotion to God's people he will be drawn closer to God the Father.

Danny's wife's name is Diffy. They have four grown children, three daughters and a son, who are all married. Melissa is married to Marlon Rising, Becky is married to Chris Clayton, Danny, Jr. is married to the former Alisha Edwards, and Elizabeth is married to Jason Davis. They have two granddaughters, Ashlyn Rising and Brigette Clayton.

Mrs. Diffy Lewis serves as pianist at WOBC and is active in the WMU and Children's ministries of the church.
