STATEMENT OF FAITH
**God is Love and Love is for Everyone!

**We are the very essence of Love as is all creation regardless of race, creed, color, religious affiliation, sex, sexual orientation, gender identification or class.

**God is greater than any religion, denomination or school of thought.

**We believe in the teachings of Jesus the Christ but we do not dismiss all other faiths and beliefs as wrong or second to our way of believing.

**Enlightenment and Revelation are continuous and did not stop with the bible writers.

Unity Fellowship Church Greater Atlanta is a social justice ministry. The term “Social Justice Ministry” at UFC, Greater Atlanta refers to the way that we as individuals and collectively as a church, serve one another, and our neighbors with the goal of proclaiming the sacredness and divinity of all humans. This practice is rooted in the teachings of Jesus the Christ found throughout the New Testament and particularly in Mathew 25.

The Unity Movement as founded in 1982 by Reverend Carl Bean for openly gay and lesbian African Americans. The first meetings were held in the private residence of Rev. Bean, on Cochran Avenue in Los Angeles.The Unity Fellowship Church Movement (UFCM) was registered in 1990 as a nonpartisan nonprofit organization, headquartered at the Jefferson Boulevard site. Presently, the UFCM network is far reaching with various national departments, urban outreach ministries, the national mass choir, periodicals and constituency-based programs nationwide.
