Details

The first service for Trinity Episcopal Church was held in 1886 and the following year a church building was erected at the corner of Cypress and Center as was thought to be the center of town. In 1895 when the center of town shifted the church moved to Olive and now Cajon which is still called 'church corner' along with the Methodist, Congregationalist, and Baptist churches. It moved for the last time in 1904 to it's present and final place at Fern and Fourth one half block off of Cajon. Thus making it one of if not the oldest parish in Redlands with many early town founders as its founders as well. It is a part of the Diocese of Los Angeles and a member of Deanery 7 and the founder of Trinity Camp which recently celebrated its 102 year. Trinity Camp is the official camp of Deanery 7 and the only one in the Diocese of Los Angeles besides Camp Stevens the camp for the Diocese of San Diego and Los Angeles.
