Our Seven Core Values:

1. Fellowship

Acts 2:42 – “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.”

Fellowship for the WFICC means that we gather together during the year for communion, relationship and prayer. Fellowship is essen-tial for operating according to one mind and spirit in accomplishing the mission of Jesus Christ.

2. Justice

Micah 6:8 – “He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To do justice and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”

Justice for the WFICC means that we seek to right the wrongs in society rather than to simply be complicit with the sufferings of others. This means being agents of change rather than passive spectators of the evil in this world.

3. Compassion

Matthew 15:32 – “Jesus called his disciples to him and said, ‘I have com-passion for these people; they have already been with me three days and have nothing to eat. I do not want to send them away hungry, or they may collapse on the way.”

Compassion for the WFICC means that we seek to provide care and help for those in and outside our body who are in need or are oppressed.

4. Excellence

2 Timothy 2:15 – “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.”

Excellence for the WFICC means that we seek to offer our best to the Lord according to our different skills and abilities in our service of ministry.

5. Diversity

Revelation 5:9 – “And they sang a new song: You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation.”

Diversity for the WFICC means that we seek to equally embrace various expressions of culture, race, language and even various church backgrounds in our community of faith.

6. Unity

Romans 12:4-5 – “Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.”

Unity for the WFICC means that we seek to maintain healthy relationships with one another by building each other up in love. Unity is essen-tial for our community to grow and edify one another in their respective gifts.

7. Obedience

1 Samuel 15:22 – “But Samuel replied, ‘Does the Lord delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the voice of the Lord? To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams.’ ”

Obedience for the WFICC means that we seek to obey the Lord above the influences of society that would deter us from the faith and to obey those who are in leadership within our body.
