The Westport Santa Dash 3.92

The world could use a little more Santa, right? Take advantage of this opportunity to become every child's favorite man by donning a Santa suit to run a 5K in Westport. Dec. 2, 2017 at 10am

Every participant will receive a shirt or Santa suit, a winners ornament and lots of holiday treats - who doesn't like hot chocolate?

Santa Suits include Santa's hat, pants, belt, and coat. Finisher ornaments for all too!

Start/Finish: The race starts at 10 AM near the intersection of Westport Rd and Pennsylvania Ave.

Elf Dash: For ages 12 & under. Elf Dash will start as soon as the last 5K participant crosses the finish line. The Elf Dash will not be timed. All Elf Dash participants will receive a race shirt and goodie bag.

Packet Pickup: Garry Gribble's Running Sports, Ward Parkway Center (8600 Ward Parkway, Kansas City, MO), Friday, December 1st, 12 to 6 PM.
You may also pick up your packet on race morning from 8:30-9:45 AM.

Awards: Awards will be given to top male and female Santas and top 3 Santas in age groups 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and up.

Post-race: Join us afterwards for Santa's favorite cookies, along with other great holiday treats! Be sure to hit up the streets of Westport after the race for great deals on holiday shopping!

Strollers Welcome! We ask that walkers with strollers start behind the runners so everyone will be safe.

NOTE: No runners with headsets, motorized vehicles, roller blades, bikes or dogs will be allowed on the course as our insurance policy does not cover these. No runners with strollers will be allowed but you can WALK with a stroller. Protection will be provided at all intersections by volunteers or the Kansas City Police Department.
