'Love your neighbor as yourself.' Mark 12:31
The Salvation Army in Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky has been serving our local community since 1885. With the help of generous donations, we provide food, clothing, shelter, comfort and care to people living in our community. Anyone who walks through our door is served and received with open arms.
Ninety cents of every dollar raised stays in our community and serves local needs.
The Salvation Army operates 6 community centers in communities across the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky region (Downtown /Citadel, Batavia, West Side, Newport, Covington, and Center Hill).
These include youth programs, food pantries, senior citizen housing and services, disaster relief, rehabilitation centers, anti-human trafficking efforts, and more. Our work is funded by generous donors, Christmas red kettle donations, corporate and foundation contributions, and the sale of goods donated to our Salvation Army Family Stores.
We are a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization, and contributions are deductible for Federal Income Tax Purposes to the extent permitted under Section 170(b)(2) for corporations.
