The Devoted Barn 1.35

The Devoted Barn sits on 53 acres. Before purchasing the barn in August of 2013 it had been unused for a few years and was in pretty rough shape. There are 30 stalls, one large 10 acre pasture, a large indoor area, and a small paddock.

The tenants of the Devoted Barn are equine and other large animals from cruelty cases and large scale hoarding situations. They come to The Devoted Barn to heal and learn to trust. They will share their journey with those from around Metro Detroit as part of hands-on education process. We always encourage both youth and adults to come and visit. Some of our frequent visitors and volunteers are Boys or Girl Scouts, Goodwill's Adult Day Group, at-risk youth, and others.
