Survivor Youth Camp 3.98

SYC holds firm to the word of God as it's backbone. We do not involve ourselves in religious argument. If you need a more in-depth doctrine of our beliefs before signing up, we have provided the following insight:

1. We teach of God's Salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ. The Bible clearly states that Christ is the one and only way to Heaven and that He died for the sins of all mankind. (John 14:6, John 3:16)

2. We believe Christ was born of a virgin (Luke 1:26-35), that He lived a sinless life (Hebrews 4:15), was crucified for our sins (John 19:17-37), and rose again to claim victory over death! (Mark 16:1-7)

3. We believe that anyone can be saved by simply accepting Christ as their Savior, asking forgiveness of their sins, and repentance. (Romans 5:8) (Romans 3:23) (Romans 6:23) (Romans 10:9-10)

4. We believe that the Bible is the true, inspired, living word of God. We do not believe the Bible needs reinforcement by any other book, nor does it need correction or clarification by any other gospels than what is recorded from Genesis to Revelation. SYC leaders read from translations such as KJV, NASB, NLT, as well as a variety of other accurate translations.

5. We believe that our message was ordained by God, and we are held accountable by God for what our audience consumes while in our care. Therefore, it is our responsibility to appoint Godly men and women to help minister to our campers. This process can sometimes walk a fine line between judgement of others beliefs/religions...and upholding the integrity of the Word of God. Therefore, we shall choose strong spiritually-grounded men and women to assist us in this camp. It is our goal to communicate this in a loving, Christ-like manner.
