Shepherd of the Desert 3.72

Shepherd of the Desert is a church in Scottsdale, Arizona and our mission is to lead people to follow Jesus. Our desire is that everything that directs and defines who we are is centered around Jesus.

We gather together as the Church to worship Jesus corporately on Sunday mornings, we grow together as a community through community groups and Bible studies, and we also partner with local and global mission organizations to advance the work of the Holy Spirit in our local community and across the globe.

This is the official Facebook page for Shepherd of the Desert, where our church community and those outside our church have the opportunity to engage and connect with one another. We will post resources, event information and photos pertaining to all Shepherd of the Desert campuses: Shea Campus, Mountain View Campus, Shepherd of the Desert Grade School and Shepherd of the Desert Preschool. Shepherd of the Desert is a Christ-centered, Bible teaching church and we are part of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.

This page does have an administrator who will do their absolute best to answer your questions and stir the conversation. The administrator also moderates comments and will not tolerate the following types of comments:
• Hate speech of any kind
• Inappropriate content, including offensive language, pornography, etc.
• Self-promotion, such as links to personal blogs, websites, etc.
• Requests for donations or money
• Spam of any kind
• Promotion of political candidates and policy
• Insults or degrading remarks to other commenters
• Hateful attacks against church members or leaders
• Anything deemed obsessive, threatening, etc.
• Anything that infringes on a copyright


Our administrator cannot monitor every comment as soon as it posts. For that reason, we ask that you do not reply to those individuals who clearly just want to start an argument. Please ignore violators and their comments until we can address the issue.
