Sew Sew U 2.72

I enjoy creating something that is 'SewSewU'!

Not long ago my life took a drastic turn. Within a span of 18 months our family was blessed with three grandchildren! Still teaching by day, I began sewing items for my childrens' nurseries by night. After great encouragement from my husband, family and friends, SewSewU was born. In July of 2014, I joined other shop owners at Etsy and added my shop to the mix.

Since we are empty nesters, my husband knocked out a wall between two bedrooms which opened up a vast area for my workspace. He has surprised me with an enormous cutting table, field trips to quilt stores (another hobby I enjoy) and a new sewing machine! My fabric stash has become quite extensive and as my shop grows I will be purchasing by the bolt! We are still designing the workspace and hope to include an area for the addition of a new embroidery machine soon. Once the workspace is finished I will post pictures!

I love the jingle my phone makes when someone favorites or purchases items from my shop! For those of you who are my age, it is like hearing that "you've got mail" voice when email was new to the world! I cannot wait to look and see what has interested buyers and what they have purchased! I have been so encouraged by the 'likes', 'admirers', and kind reviews of customers and love the opportunities to create custom orders that are 'SewSewU'!
