In the fall of 2006, after several unsuccessful attemps to place clothing donations with other Cape non-profits, it was suggested that the Pantry open a Thrift Shop. Approximately 20 volunteers set to work on the task of establishing an upscale thrift shop. After many hours of hard work, Second Glance Thrift Shop opened in a small store front on Cross Street in Harwich Port and the shop has enjoyed steady growth since. In 2011, the shop moved to its current location on Main Street with the number of volunteers growing to over 50 people. Second Glance Thrift Shop has created a reliable and growing revenue stream to benefit The Family Pantry of Cape Cod.
Our customers will find mens and womens clothing, shoes, jewelry, and accessories, from unique and trendy to classic and timeless pieces. We also carry a wide array of homegoods. We look forward to your visit!
