About Seattle Goodwill
Our mission is to provide quality, effective employment training and basic education to individuals with significant barriers to economic opportunity.

What is Seattle Goodwill?
Seattle Goodwill is a nonprofit organization founded in 1923. We currently operate 10 Job Training Centers, 25 retail stores and 38 donation sites in King, Snohomish, Skagit, Whatcom and Kitsap counties. We employ 2,000 people and follow WA State compensation laws.

Are you affiliated with a Headquarters?
Seattle Goodwill is one of 165 affiliates of Goodwill Industries International, with headquarters outside of Washington, DC. However, each Goodwill group is run by its own Board of Directors who establishes policy for their local group.

How does Goodwill fulfill its mission?
Goodwill sells donated goods from the community in its retail stores, with the net proceeds supporting our free job training and education programs. Because Jobs Change Lives.
