Sailing Panacea 2.75

This page is created to chronicle the cruising, racing and hanging out adventures on board the tranquil sailboat Panacea. The boat is a Catalina 30 - one of the most popular boats ever produced! Panacea is a 'tall rig' meaning she has a taller mast than the standard production Catalina 30 hence larger sailing area. She spent the first 20 years of her life sailing on the waters of Lake Michigan based out of Wisconsin until being transferred by her owner to Lake Grapevine in 2006. She's been in the Morrison family since mid 2014 we're lucky to have her! She is a member of Fleet 5 in the Grapevine Sailing Club and has placed favorably (so far) in club races and regattas. Whether racing (which is a LOT of fun!) or crusing, we invite all our friends to come sail with us and enjoy the beauty of being on the water and under sail.
