Why rocket skates?

I remember watching Wile E. Coyote employ one zany scheme after another in a tireless (and entertaining) campaign for gastric satisfaction. One would often look at the methods (like rocket skates) employed in order to achieve this goal and, dumbfounded, ask “why?”.
Looking back, my decision to pursue a career in audio was a defining ‘why’ moment for me. In my love for music, I unwittingly strapped a hair-brained idea built by the lowest bidder to my feet and lit the fuse.
We are all chasing after a roadrunner. What are your rocket skates?
