After several years away from my camera, I decided to re-dedicate myself to the things that I'm passionate about. The creative rush that comes when a photographer and model/client are 'feeling it', and the shoot is going well is something that I missed, and decided I couldn't live without.

A while back, I met Betty Blue by chance. I didn't know it at the time, but it was a meeting that would change the way I think about photography and everything related to it. Our relationship began to grow, and we eventually decided to explore working together.

At the same time, we also decided that we weren't going to be happy shooting the stereotypical portraits. We wanted to be more creative. More colorful. To go off the beaten path a bit.

That's why we started Rocket Queen Imaging; to provide an opportunity for people to feel beautiful, to look great, to let that inner star or starlet out, if only for a day, and to do it in a way that is different than all of the cookie-cutter genres that seem to be so pervasive.

We enjoy working closely with people to achieve something that we couldn't achieve alone. We enjoy building relationships, and the human interaction that accompanies that. Mostly, we just enjoy being around positive, fun people.
