The official Facebook page for RIT's MMET team that is competing in the 2016 Micro-G NExT competition hosted by NASA.

As of December 9th, 2015, RIT's Team was approved, along with a select number of other teams from universities across the country, to begin construction of their proposed design for testing purposes at Johnson Space Center, in Houston, Texas, this coming summer.

The team consists of six members:

Daniel Vasconcellos: Team Lead, and in charge of team affairs and oversight.

Christian Pape: Construction Lead, and in charge of social media.

David Simpson: Outreach Lead, and in charge of documentation.

Drew Walters: Finances Lead, and helping manage outreach/team planning.

Jake Shawley: Design/CAD Lead, and in charge of analysis.

Scott Bell: Manufacturing Lead, and in charge of fabrication/part selection.

All members put forth equal contribution to testing and rapid-prototyping, as well as design alterations and revisions.

Team is overseen by faculty member Mark Olles, Ph.D.
